Grocery Shopping

Once living in Ohr Chabad, the most convenient shopping center will be Osher Ad, which is a slightly smaller model of Costco, but with mehadrin hechsherim.
Address: Ha-Kotser St. 15
Website: Osherad.co.il

For a smaller location, in the area of Be’er Sheva where most English-speaking olim live, the popular choice is Machsanei Hashuk. During the year of and after shmita, there is one branch which sells only shmita lemehadrin produce:
Address: Derech Hameshaherim 100

Another branch of Machsanei Hashuk has produce that is mehadrin outside of a shmita year (currently this means not buying fruits that grow on trees from this store).
Address: Sderot Yerushalayim 10

Machsanei Hashuk also has an app for online shopping. All their produce is mehadrin outside of a shmita year (currently this means not ordering fruits that grow on trees from the app).
Website: mck.co.il

It’s important to be aware that many Chabad chassidim in Israel keep to two hechsherim: B’datz Eida Charedit, and the hechsher of HaRav Landau. These are the only two hechsherim allowed in the Chabad schools. Exceptions are made for some individual products, but it’s important to discuss with your Rav/mashpia what you will eat, and ask families before sharing food.
